HealthRight International - Human Rights Clinic
HealthRight International is a global health and human rights organization working to build lasting access to health for excluded communities. HealthRight's Human Rights Clinic Project in the United States assists survivors of torture and other gross human rights abuses seeking asylum and other immigration relief in the United States. It provides pro bono forensic medical and mental health evaluations and affidavits for survivors and connects them to follow-up services, including medical and mental health care.

The International Committee of the Red Cross is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance.
International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims
The International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims is an independent, international health professional organization, which promotes and supports the rehabilitation of torture victims and works for the prevention of torture. They offer comprehensive information and resources related to torture and torture treatment. Their Web site includes publications such as the Istanbul Protocol Implementation Project for investigating and documenting torture.
New Tactics in Human Rights Project
New Tactics in Human Rights Project is an international initiative coordinated by The Center for Victims of Torture. The project promotes tactical innovation and strategic thinking within the international human rights community through the use and sharing of a wide range of tactics to reduce human rights abuses throughout the world.

Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), founded in 1946, advocates and works for the protection of children's rights, to help the young meet their basic needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential. UNICEF is guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child and strives to establish children's rights as enduring ethical principles.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees was established in 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees worldwide. Their Web site contains information about the plight of refugees as well as country-specific information (e.g., maps, statistics). The UNHCR has created Google Earth "layers" to give you a virtual reality tour with the UN refugee agency of some of the world's major displacement crises and the humanitarian efforts aimed at helping the victims.
World Organization Against Torture
The World Organization Against Torture is the largest international coalition fighting torture, summary executions, forced disappearances and all other forms of cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment. Three Hundred non-governmental organizations make up its global network and act as sources of information. Its urgent interventions reach daily more than 90,000 governmental and intergovernmental institutions, non-governmental associations, and pressure and interest groups.
