USCRI Report on Medically Vulnerable Refugees

The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) recently released a report that assessed the capacity of resettlement communities across the country to address the complex medical and mental healthcare needs of recently resettled refugees. The report includes policy recommendations and information on the impact of the Affordable Care Act and expanded Medicaid coverage on this population. Visit the Access to Care section and the Medical section of HealTorture.org for more information and resources on the medical care of torture survivors.
