Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

Webinar Summary

This webinar is intended for medical professionals who have some familiarity with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). It is not intended to serve as training in how to practice EMDR. Because of this, this webinar focuses on the application of EMDR to torture survivors rather than an examination of the process of EMDR, leaving some jargon, such as “bilateral stimulation” and “resource installation,” undefined. The webinar includes a brief overview of EMDR, including a broad outline of an average session.
